Which will still be necessary much of the time, but there are situations where I'm just running and shooting at a mob of melee enemies. This makes it possible to just set a firing angle and focus on moving, without having to hold the stick in that direction. Just a thin line, probably white, maybe with a drop shadow, and 50% opacity, would work.Īdditionally, if releasing the aiming stick didn't reset the crosshair, that would also be nice. Which isn't impossible, but it's not nearly as intuitive, and I do way better with mouse aiming because of it. Using an analog stick, since it's harder to place the crosshair precisely somewhere, you have to eyeball the space between the player and crosshair. This isn't needed with the mouse, since it's easy to just point and shoot (though some might like it anyway). That said, it would be nice if, for those using a Deck or controller, an option were offered that toggles a line between the player and the crosshair, showing where the bullet will travel. The other buildings are just screaming for upgrade options, a priest at the church to heal you or the above suggested truck fixes/speedups/tank tracks to get over barricades.I've found it to run very nicely on my Deck (most of these bullet-heaven/twin-stick shooters do), and the menus are all accessible without having to resort to an emulated mouse control (which is almost as important as performance, I think). The other balance aspects where fine for me, 4 or 5 i forget now, deaths I think got me to clearing truck 10 in the demo. Just circle strafing at the end of each truck run for a loooong time compared to the defence aspect got a bit tedious for me personally. perhaps the truck breaks down and you need to fetch a wheel or there are detours setup by the hoard or even barriers to be hacked up. It is a bit too much about the cleanup post vehicle run though, balance a bit more towards defence of the truck seems more on brand here, simply slowing it down a bit while increasing its armour by quite a lot would work, or lowering mob size while increasing their XP coin drops Originally posted by HuggyDeathBunny□□:Loved the demo, great style and arcade gameplay, with a nice induction of the rogue element.
